Before starting KarmaTab, I worked as a General Manager in hospitality. I was responsible for the full operation from service flow and staff management to inventory control and financial reporting. When something went wrong, it was on me. And too often, what went wrong was the system. I've stood on the floor during peak hours while a POS froze. I've stayed late reconciling numbers that didn't match. I've dealt with disconnected tools that forced us to export data, double-check reports, and manually fix mistakes that software should have prevented. What frustrated me most wasn't that problems happened. It was that they were predictable. Most POS systems are built by software companies trying to serve everyone. They aren't built from the pressure of a Saturday night service or the responsibility of closing a month accurately. KarmaTab was created from that perspective. It is designed for reliability during peak hours, clarity in reporting, and workflows that match real hospitality operations.
